Our mission is accelerating electrification to build a sustainable future *

* If rockets were battery-powered, we’d make sure it gets there and back
without overheating — ’cause that’s what we do.

We are innovators in thermal management technology.

Here at Calogy Solutions, we recognize the place that thermal management has in the future; our mission is to be the partner of choice in creating sustainable solutions to thermal issues, notably for electric transport.

The Experts Behind Calogy

Mahmood Shirazy

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Under his leadership, Calogy is expanding quickly from a technology start-up to a serious player in the battery technology market. Mahmood Shirazy obtained his Ph.D. from Université de Sherbrooke in thermofluids, heat pipes and thermal management. His research work has led to multiple research awards including the American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME) electronic and photonic packaging division (EPPD) student member of the year award for 2013 and the outstanding paper award in the conference InterPACK2013. He has also authored journal articles and several patent applications. He completed his business training at Université de Sherbrooke’s Business School and at the Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) of Montréal in order to anchor his passion for entrepreneurship and business.
